Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location in the historic canal district, conveniently close to attractions like the Anne Frank House and easily walkable from the central station. The spacious rooms, often offering lovely canal views, feature amenities such as comfortable queen-size beds, and individual AC/heat controls. While some guests have mentioned that certain rooms could benefit from updates, many appreciate the well-stocked bar, which also serves as the breakfast room where made-to-order Dutch pancakes are a favorite.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

The hotel offered a convenient location near major attractions. I found the room spacious and well kept. The staff was consistently helpful with directions. Breakfast provided a good selection of items each morning. The room included a rainfall shower. The hotel also offered bike rentals for exploring the area.
The minibar's cooling system was somewhat ineffective, not keeping drinks as cold as I prefer.

Adequate Stay with Some Disappointments

no garden viewinconsistent housekeeping
The room I booked, a 'Beautiful Room Garden View Spa Bath,' had no garden view. (I was expecting at least some greenery). The housekeeping also proved inconsistent. One day, the room wasn't cleaned fully and another day, the job felt rushed. This definitely detracted from the overall experience, especially considering the price paid. They really need to sort that out, I think.

The breakfast room looked quite nice. It certainly gave the impression of luxury.
I hate to say it, but housekeeping seemed to have missed a spot or two. The room wasn't exactly super clean. It was disappointing. also, the air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own, blasting hot air.
